Did you complete a research project in the fall semester that you still can’t stop talking about?  Are you working on an interesting research project this semester and want to share it with others? Did you work on a project with a community partner? If you answered yes to any of the above, then share your research findings with the Siena community at the Ted Winnowski Student Conference in Business! This conference, held this year on Friday, April 17th from 3:00pm -5:15pm in the SSU, is not only an opportunity for you to present your work in a collegial environment but a great opportunity to build your resume! You are able to showcase your work in front of faculty, classmates and friends and receive constructive feedback. Competitive awards are granted for Best Paper and Best Presentation, and a “People’s Choice” award is voted on by the audience. Not to mention the free giveaways and cookies for all!

This year’s keynote speaker is Marisa Ricciardi ‘98 of The Ricciardi Group, a creative, strategy and marketing company she founded in 2014. The Ricciardi Group partners with Morgan Stanley, BNY Mellon, innovators like Adobe and merging technology brands like General Assembly. Her firm was recently recognized by Inc. 5000 as one of America’s fastest-growing companies, and Ricciardi herself was named one of “10 Leading Ladies Changing Business as Usual” by Inc. Magazine and “Marketing Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the 2017 Markets Choice Awards for Women in Finance. Ricciardi will offer a keynote address at the start of this year’s conference. Join us even if you don’t plan to present.

Projects related to accounting, business analytics, economics, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, or management will be showcased. Your work can be completed or in-progress. All you need is a title and abstract to submit! Submissions will be accepted electronically until March 27th at www.siena.edu/schools/school-of-business/ted-r-winnowski-63-student-conference-in-business. Whether you will be submitting a paper or not we still strongly encourage you to join us on April 17th at 3:00pm and support your fellow classmates. See what the buzz is about!
